Many of you parent bloggers are aware of the MADS. If you aren't here's a bit of a low down.

The MADS are the biggest and brightest parent blogger awards, in fact you could almost call them a bit mad! They aim to celebrate the wonderful corners of the parent blogging world. 

I've never thought about blogging awards but when I got a tweet saying I had been nominated I may have squealed with excitement. It's an amazing honour to even be considered.

I don't class my blog as an important site of the parenting world but I like to think people enjoy reading my site.

If you feel like my blog is worthy of anything from best writer to best photography then please nominate me! I would be eternally grateful to just get a tweet to say I'm nominated, let alone potentially shortlisted!
