Formerly called Max and Mummy, Eyes On Stage is an arts and theatre blog based in Bournemouth, Dorset. What started as an outlet for post-natal depression has turned into a collection of memories for our young family and finally settling on a site to talk about our favourite thing in the world, the arts. 

Since starting blogging we have raised awareness and challenged how society perceives young parents. We've spoken on TV, in newspapers, and even challenged MP's in parliament about everything from benefits to maternity discrimination. We've teamed up with the Young Women's Trust and the Equality and Human Rights Commission on various campaigns aimed at young people and parents. I've won awards, worked with brilliant brands, theatres and festivals and Max has loved learning new things and going on his own music and theatre journey. 

Our family consists of Laura (mum), Scott (dad) and Max (age 10). We live in Bournemouth and regularly travel around the UK to explore new festivals in summer, theatre's throughout the year and art exhibitions whenever we can. Max is currently performing with a local theatre group, learning how to play every instrument he can think of and studying for his LAMDA exams. He's not too sure if he wants to be an actor, singer, or perform in a musical, but he's sure that he wants to be on stage! 

We are a PR friendly blog and have worked with many brands on different levels from competitions to reviews and sponsored posts. We love building up long term relationships with brands and pride ourselves on fantastic photography and copy that will whisk readers away.
