Butserfest

This weekend me and max headed down to butserfest in the heart of Hampshire to attend their festival.

I'm always apprehensive about how many festivals brand themselves as family friendly. This one sounded great as it's drug and alcohol free and in collaboration with the council so lots of help on site.

With a great line up of rock acts (kids in glass houses and the blackout) we were chuffed with going.

Once we got there is was a massive trek across uneven ground to get to the site. Not great when you have a buggy and toddler but for the £20 ticket you can't complain. Once we got there is was all nicely laid out and close together.

One thing I did find was there wasn't much for little kids. A couple of games but max was too small for the inflatables and too big to sit in the buggy.

Luckily we spent ages watching the bands, catching up with friends and hanging out in the acoustic area which was great.

A good festival for value for money and music choice if that's what you like, but not much to do on the family side. If you market it for all ages it needs to be covered! Even just a bouncy castle would have been good.
