As most of you are aware I am now part of the Advisory panel for the Young Women's Trust. Basically that means we meet up twice a year for residential weekends and help advise on the charity's work, give a young person's perspective and give our input on what we think the charity could focus on.

I was a bit nervous about the weekend, mainly because I only knew one woman and I'm not the best with speaking in big groups. I shouldn't have been worried at all though! Every single woman I met was amazing and inspirational in their own way. The ideas and opinions we all formed were so varied but all had the same meaning. Young women need a voice, need to be respected and need to be heard.

This weekend I have been surrounded by some wonderful and inspiring young women. We channeled our inner Beyonce and came together to make some amazing vlogs. I feel so honoured to be part of such an awesome group of women! #youngwomenstrust #YWTResidential

I think we all came away channelling our inner Beyonce and feeling like we could really run the world, now we've just got to get to work!
