This Summer: The Ordinary Moments.

This summer has flown by. It's hard to believe that in 10 days Max will be running off into year one with all of his school friends. Luckily we have crammed the summer holidays with more than we could have ever imagined so it's full of memories for us to look back on.

We've had an amazing time at the WB Studio Tour, seeing Scooby Doo Live and going trampolining at Oxygen Freejumping. Whilst it's been great to get out and about and experience some amazing new things, it's also been glorious to go on playdates with the school friends and time together that we wouldn't normally have.

Some of my favourite moments have included snuggling up on the sofa with a good movie, running riot at Moors Valley and playing with his toys that he loves. The ordinary moments are often the ones that you will remember the most. And whilst me and Scott run wild trying to fit in our work lives around the summer holidays, we have made sure that we are on hand to tick everything off that summer bucket list.

Max seems to have grown over the summer, not only in height but also in confidence and emotions. I'll often catch him sneaking into our bed early in the morning just for a cuddle, or running up to his friends if they hurt themselves to see how he can help. I can tell he's going to be a caring boy for his friendship group the older they grow together.

So here's to the last 10 days. With a festival, Young Women's Trust residential and last days with nanny Jen (she's moving abroad for a bit!) it's crammed with every drop of fun and laughter we can muster. Bring on year one.
