Alpine Adventure Park - Snowtrax

We love finding new places to explore and enjoy in our local area, especially ones that we can use all day and the kids love too. Recently a friend suggested we try the Alpine Adventure Park based at the back of Snowtrax ski centre, so we headed down with a picnic to see what it was like.

Based on the outskirts of Bournemouth, the Alpine Adventure Park is a wooden play area with a giant pirate ship themed adventure play. We headed there for opening at 10am to ensure we had a picnic bench to last us the day there!

I was really impressed with the pricing, £3.95 for kids and £2.50 for adults. You got the adult cost back in spending money at the kiosk meaning I picked up some drinks and snacks to treat us with.
Before I could even sit down, Max had run off into the play area to explore and enjoy.

The park is a fantastic mix of a giant adventure pirate ship (with whirly slide) and an adventure park with zip wire, balance beams and trampolines for kids to enjoy. It's something that you can turn up to and literally while away the whole day there (which we have now done on several occasions!).

One thing that I love most about the adventure park is the fact it's almost impossible for the kids to leave. With only one entry and exit, and a button and turnstile to go through, I'm safe in the knowledge that Max will happily stay inside playing and won't be able to escape!

The Alpine Adventure Park has quickly become my favourite park to bring Max to. We can't wait to go back.
