Finding a new family festival is quite an exciting experience. Not only is it another excuse to bring out the tent and spend time with the family, but it's also an opportunity to experience the magic of festivals for another weekend of the year.
This year, festival veterans Dick & Dom are taking on the adventure of bringing their own festival to the Isle of Wight. Named The Great Wonderfest, it's set to be a weekend full of curiosities, wellbeing, fun and music! And I've got to say that at first look, I'm incredibly impressed!
With a lineup that I have to say is awesome for all, there is literally something for everyone at this wonderful festival. We are excited to see brilliant artists like The Vamps and Busted (throwing back to my youth!). Whilst I know that Max is going to love the dance workshops with Flawless and the adventure activities on offer.
For the little ones there is the fantastic Peppa and George, along with Rastamouse and the utterly brilliant Raver Tots. Whilst older kids will love seeing Dick & Dom take the stage daily and taking advantage of the drama workshops and skate park. For the parents there is plenty of time to relax with the pamper lounge, yoga and talks from experts such as Emily Leary (who can get your kid to eat anything- trust me!)
The Great Wonderfest have also teamed up with the Scouts to not only host a Scoutfest in the festival itself with fantastic opportunities to learn some skills, but also with a Scouts go free offer too! It's honestly going to be a festival that will impress and definitely make a mark on the family festival scene.
Tickets start from £120 for adult weekend tickets, with kids weekend tickets starting from £25. With an option to camp for 7 days on site as opposed to just the 4 for the festival, there's no excuse to not make it a jolly summer family holiday! There are also VIP and Glamping options available too for those wanting to make it a bit more of a special holiday.
We are super excited to head over to the island this year and see what The Great Wonderfest has on offer and we have an extra special competition for a family to win a weekend ticket for themselves too. Just fill out the form below! Good luck!
