There is something quite wonderful about the works of Baz Luhrmann. He seems to add a sense of wonder, elegance, and a touch of eccentricity to each piece of work he makes, and his 1992 film Strictly Ballroom is one of those fine pieces of cinematography. 

If you were to team up this classic with the choreography and direction of Craig Revel Horwood, you will be sure to create a piece of theatre that is quite simply fab-u-lous. Currently taking to the Mayflower Theatre stage in Southampton, we were treated to a show that would get 10’s across the board.

Collaborating with a franchise such as Peaky Blinders can be a daunting one. With a solid fan base, it’s easy to get something wrong or disappoint an audience. But by blending this incredible dance company with the creative team behind one of the most intense, shows on TV, you create something that is beyond incredible. You create something that is jaw dropping, in your face, and beautiful all at the same time.
