On Tuesday 3rd April, Braniac Live takes to the Lighthouse in Poole to amaze and wonder boys and girls from child through to adults. Watch as they explode things before your eyes and perform dare devil stunts that will leave you glued to your seats in wonder. It's perfect for those science fanatics big and small.
Taking things down a peg or two on the 10th and 11th April, the folks from Norwell Lapley Productions are putting on a performance of Dear Zoo at the Lighthouse too. Watch as the classic book is brought to life as the characters Ben and Sally discover what is in each package from the zoo. Perfect for little ones that are just being introduced to the theatre.
Finally the Lighthouse have the fantastic Gingerbread Man take to the stage on the 13th April. Watch as our lovely gingerbread man takes to the streets to outwit everyone and save himself from being eaten. Is he the bravest biscuit? Well you'll just have to come and watch this performance from the team that brought us the wonderful Three Little Pigs at Christmas.
Over at the Mayflower in Southampton, you can catch the most Awful Auntie of all from the 4th-7th April. Based on the book by David Walliams, this play is one that will have you answering questions and helping Stella find out what really happened to her family.
For the older children, the Mayflower is hosting Matthew Bourne's adaptation of Cinderella. It's definitely not suitable for little ones, but is set to be a beautiful version of the classic tale that we all know and love. It's on between the 27th and 31st March.
The Nuffield Campus Theatre in Southampton is having a Noisy Holiday from the 5th-6th May. Packed with fun and interactivity, this show has everything from singing and dancing to puppetry and animation. One that will definitely get kids laughing and loving theatre.
In Eastleigh on the 4th April, Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs are storming the stage at The Point theatre. A non stop, action packed adventure that is perfect for swashbuckling girls and boys that are ready to take on the terrible T-Rex.
Alice in Wonderland is taking the to New Theatre Royal stage in Portsmouth on the 10th-11th April. Join the Mad Hatters tea party and chase the White Rabbit in this hilarious comedy musical that will keep all the family entertained.
Finally at the Theatre Royal in Winchester, we are heading to the prehistoric with So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs on the 4th April. Learn all about these amazing creatures with Dr Ben Garrod and watch kids face their parents in a test of the most knowledgeable of all.
