One thing that I love about my local theatre scene is that the end of December never marks the end of panto season. For once January hits, the fantastic Highcliffe Charity Players put on a pantomime that will delight and entertain and brighten up those January blues. This year they took on the classic tale of Cinderella, and boy did they not disappoint!

Room On The Broom Review
Tuesday, 8 January 2019
Children's theatre is something truly magical at the moment. With an array of original shows and ones that are adapted from books, there is something that will spark the imagination in every child, big or small! This year Tall Stories are bringing so many children's books to life that it's beyond exciting and we had the opportunity to ask one very special witch if there was any room on her broom for us!
Billionaire Boy Review - NSTheatres Southampton
Thursday, 3 January 2019
I absolutely adore children's theatre. There is something so magical about captivating a younger audience and the brand new show Billionaire Boy is no exception. Based on the well loved book by David Walliams, this musical is high energy and perfect for every member of the family. It was certainly a night that we won't be forgetting in a hurry!

Kingston Lacy House at Christmas
Wednesday, 2 January 2019
With the mad rush before Christmas, we didn't get any of our usual traditions ticked off the bucket list. So when we suggested with our friends that we all head to Kingston Lacy to check out the decorations on New Year's Day, we all couldn't wait.
Kingston Lacy is a National Trust property just outside of Wimborne, Dorset and is our local National Trust property. It's somewhere we visit on a regular basis with our friends and we definitely get our money's worth from our passes in visits to Kingston Lacy alone.
