The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a story and play that has wowed audiences for over a decade now.  Based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Mark Haddon, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a tale about a 15 year old boy called Christopher Boone who finds his neighbours dog has died in mysterious circumstances. He heads on a journey of discovery to find out that the things he knows and loves might not be as simple as they seem. 

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is on a UK Tour and has landed in Southampton at The Mayflower Theatre. Max and I were invited along to see what we thought of this electric show. 

 You should have been there. You should have seen it! You won't believe the things we saw that went down at the Mayflower Theatre when the absolutely spectacular cast of Everybody's Talking About Jamie took to the stage. 

I last saw Everybody's Talking About Jamie just before the first lockdown in London and it absolutely blew me away. The cast the musicality and the performance itself. As soon as I knew it was going on tour and would be visiting Southampton, I knew that I had to be there. And luckily for me, Scott surprised me with some tickets for Christmas. 

 Everybody's Talking About Jamie is a show that has taken the world by storm. It's managed to appear in countries around the world and finally this tale of a Northern lad that wants to go to prom in a dress has hit the big screen. Well the small screen, but has been made into a movie either way!

Jamie was a casualty of Covid. A film that was destined to make its big screen debut, but due to to the pandemic was pushed back until it was agreed to be released on Amazon Prime. Whilst I'm sad it never had its box office opportunity, I'm glad it still made its way into the hearts of many.
