After two glorious days at Victorious Festival we couldn't wait for our final day. With a bittersweet feeling that the end was near, we had a list of things that we wanted to see and do. Of course plans never go the way they want, but we were surprised at how much we managed to tick off our list! This time around we had not only Max's cousins joining us, but nearly the whole family heading down for the day. Because when they say that Victorious is a family festival, they mean it's a family festival as there is something for everyone.

Victorious Festival 2019 - Saturday Review
Day one of Victorious Festival was full of glorious sunshine, brilliant music and a well needed early night. Day two of Victorious was set to be hotter, and even more jam packed than the day before. With our suncream on, water bottles at the ready and on the first park and ride bus of the day, we were off! After a brilliant Friday, we couldn't wait to show Scott what the festival had in store for 2019. And with so many great new additions for us to explore we got stuck right in for day two of Max's favourite weekend of the year.

Victorious Festival 2019 - Friday Review
Friday, 30 August 2019
One of our favourite weekends of the year is Victorious Festival. It's a festival that if you know us personally, or online you know that we go on about more than any other family event in the year. Set in the heart of Portsmouth on Southsea Common, Victorious is the perfect family festival that's not only affordable, but jam packed with amazing things to do throughout the whole weekend.

Avenue Q Review - Mayflower Theatre Southampton
Wednesday, 28 August 2019
Avenue Q is a show that I have seen more times than I can count. I seem to watch it at different points of my life, from teenage years through to being a parent and feel that I take away something different each time I watch it. Having said that, it's a show that is a laugh a minute and never seems to get old either! It's currently on the Mayflower stage in Southampton, so I was invited down to Avenue Q with some friends in tow to see if I could find my purpose!
Amelie The Musical Review - Bournemouth Pavilion
Tuesday, 13 August 2019
They say times are hard for dreamers, but Amelie the Musical was a true dream come true as it takes to the stage on its UK tour. Based on the cult classic film, this wild and wonderful show is everything you could dream of as it twists and weaves through Parisian life following Amelie as she finds her place in the world. I headed to the Bournemouth Pavilion to catch it recently and all I can say is wow!
