Come along and listen to, the wonderful performances of Bournemouth and Boscombe's Light Opera Company (BBLOC)'s latest show, 42nd Street. It's not an easy feat to take on a mammoth show such as 42nd Street. With dancing, singing, huge characters, and did I mention the constant dancing? It's a show that is fast paced, full of bright lights, catchy songs, and fantastic costumes. But by George did this company bring the house down and create a show that rivalled the latest west end version!

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - BBLOC
They've only gone and done it again. The utterly brilliant Bournemouth and Boscombe Light Opera Company (most known to the public as BBLOC) have smashed it out of the park with their latest production. Move over west end, there's a new wave of stars in town and they are taking the Bournemouth Pavilion stage by storm.
After their previous successes such as Calendar Girls, Kinky Boots and the Addams Family, they are venturing into the world of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice with another classic tale. This time, it's the turn of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The Addams Family - BBLOC Review
Bringing the essence and energy of the west end onto a local stage, BBLOC (Bournemouth & Boscombe Light Opera Company) are one of the most professional musical theatre society groups that I’ve ever seen. Each show they produce rivals the west end in their professionalism, performance and altogether showstoppers. They are a true credit to the Bournemouth arts scene and continue to impress me show after show.
This Autumn, their offering is nothing short of spooky and fits perfectly with their Halloween weekend performance schedule; The Addams Family.
Kinky Boots - BBLOC - Bournemouth Pavilion
The first thing you notice about someone is their shoes. At least that's what Harold Price, father to Charlie Price will tell you. Yet when he leaves his show factory to his son, it takes a different kind of shoe from what his dad made for Charlie to understand there is more to shoemaking than simply stitching leather.
Since its hit success on the big screen, Broadway, and the West End, Kinky Boots is a show that has taken the world by storm. Now available for local theatre's to put on their own versions, it was time for our local theatre group to take on these boots.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - BBLOC Review
Hearing that Bournemouth & Boscombe Light Opera Company (BBLOC) were putting on the musical that captured my childhood, I couldn't wait to take Max and my mum to see it at the Bournemouth Pavilion! To have the opportunity to live nostalgically for one evening was exactly what we needed to end the summer holidays. We were off to see Chitty and the gang!
