Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge Review

There's something to be said about a toy brand that stands the test of time. One that is timeless across generations but somehow still manages to make their products better and better. Hot Wheels is one of those brands that I remember playing with as a child and now Max has fallen in love with them too.

Max will spend most of his days constructing tracks all around our little flat for his copious amount of cars to shoot down at lightning speed. I often find him constructing sets late at night in the dark when he's supposed to be asleep, or curled up with a car tightly in his fist. So when Hot Wheels recently got in touch with us to ask if we wanted to review some of their play sets, I couldn't say yes faster!

Geomag Magicube Review and Competiton

There's something about building blocks that are fun for kids of any age from 1 to 100. The simple idea of building something up and knocking it down, or creating a structure from your imagination is one that is perfect for all kids.

Geomag have tapped into this simplicity and added some of their magic to create some amazing new building blocks that are a little bit special and a lot of fun!

Comedy Club 4 Kids - Lighthouse Poole

Me and Scott are massive comedy fans. If we aren't watching it on TV, we are looking to see some of our favourites live. There's something special about seeing live comedy, it really captures the imagination and leaves you with a massive grin on your face. Max is a bit like us, he loves finding things funny and we spend ages online watching kid appropriate videos and laughing until our sides hurt.

As part of the Roundabout Theatre festival in Poole, there was a special Comedy Club 4 Kids held to introduce youngsters to the magic of live comedy.

September Reads - Moxie

I felt like I really got into the swing of reading again in September. It was probably a mix of Max going back to school, long train journeys and actually getting into a routine that I feel I'm somewhat mastering (as much as I can do!) I ended up reading about 4 books and really enjoyed most of them. I also managed to go to Waterstones and buy a few more too!

Our Disneyland Paris Top 10

It's been nearly a month since we were at Disneyland Paris and the Disney blues have well and truly hit. I've definitely been looking at prices for return trips and dreaming about being back in the happy place. For now though, I wanted to blog about my top 10 moments from our trip.

Character Interaction Tips At Disneyland Paris

Meeting characters is one of the perks of visiting a Disney resort. For me, it's one of my favourite things to do as I love everything from the interactions to the photos and I knew that Max would love it just as much as I do. I wouldn't say that I've mastered the character interaction, but I have learnt over the years some tips and tricks to get the most out of each meet and greet that happens.

Earl Of Sandwich Disneyland Paris

Dining in Disneyland Paris can get expensive, especially when you travel in a fairly large group or you have a big family. Not only that but for some, dining can be a nightmare when you have fussy eaters. As someone who has a child that is normally okay with trying most things, we wanted to make sure we had a few pit stops where we knew Max would eat everything. Cue Earl Of Sandwich.

TGI Fridays BH2 Review

There's nothing better than a catch up with the girls. A moment where you can sit back, relax and talk without the kids screaming or taking our full attention. Me and the school mums are a close bunch and we love to go out and have lunch together. With September came a new baby, new school starters and finally being back into a routine. So when TGI Fridays invited us to celebrate, we jumped at the chance to have a fab lunch out.
